Yesterday we started with quiet reading.  We returned our library books to the library. We did calendar and we had literacy centers. We wrote the middle of our stories.  This is the part that has the problem.  After lunch we did mindfulness and we changed our home reading books.  We had gym and then we went to the drumming residency.  We did Mathletics anf RaxKids on the iPads.

Today we started with quiet reading.  We did calendar and we had literacy centers.  We finished our stories by writing the solution to our problem.  We did mindfulness and we changed our home reading books.  We had gym with Mrs. Sterne.  We talked about how we know it's summer by observing the land using our 5 senses.  We wrote about it.

Home Reading books are due back by Friday.

Tuesday, June 28th is the last day of school.

Yesterday we started with quiet reading and we changed our library books.  We had music with Mr. Wiens.  We did calendar.  We started a plan so we can write a story.  We decided on characters, the setting, the problem and the solution.  We did mindfulness and we changed our home reading books.  We had gym.  We had literacy centers.  We started an experiment in science.  We put celery in a cup with food colouring.  We made a hypothesis about what we think will happen.   Today we started with quiet reading and catch up time.  We did calendar.  We had literacy centers.  We looked at what happened to our celery and wrote about it.  After lunch we did mindfulness and we changed our home reading books.  We had gym.  We did a survey before the drumming residency that the school is doing next week.  We did Mathletics and RazKids on the iPads.
