 Yesterday we started with quiet reading and catch up time.  We practiced our Fall Changes poem.  We did calendar and we practiced some patterns.  We finished our smelling jars activity.  We learned about the letter N.  We talked about the sound it makes and we brainstormed words that begin with N.  We practiced printing it on our whiteboards and in our printing books.  We drew and labelled pictures that begin with N.  After lunch we did our mindfulness exercises and we practiced our letters and sound by doing our gumball activity.  We had gym.  We did another visualization activity.  We read a poem together and we drew the picture that was in our head.  We finished our smelling jars activity.  We started learning about our sense of taste.

Today we started with quiet reading.  We did calendar and we practiced counting in different ways.  We also practiced subitizing.  We went outside for gym and practiced our underhand throws.  We had music with Mr. Weins.  We worked on the number 10.  We practiced printing it.  We talked about making sure we put a finger or stick space between our 10's but not between the 1 and the 0.  We showed different ways to represent the number ten. We practiced our letters and sounds by doing our gumball activity.
