Nov 10
Yesterday we started with quiet reading and catch up time. We had music with Mr. Weins. We did calendar ans we practiced putting numbers in order. We did Student of the Day. We learned that Ibrahim likes monster trucks. We wrote his name properly and we copied 3 sentences about him. Some of us wrote our own sentences about him. We drew his picture for our class books. After lunch we had mindfulness and we practiced our letter sounds. We had gym. We wrote our numbers as high as we can go. Our goal is to be able to write numbers correctly to 100. We did Mathletics and RazKids on the iPads.
Today we started with quiet reading. We did calendar. We practiced counting in different ways and we practiced ordering numbers. We learned about the letter Z. We practiced the sound it makes and we practiced printing it on our whiteboards and in our printing books. We drew and labelled pictures that start with it. Some of us wrote sentences with Z words in them. We had our Remembrance Day assembly. I have included a few pictures from the assembly. We fill out the "taste" page in our Super Senses book. We drew a picture of our favourite tastes and we tried to sound them out.
