Oct 25

Today we started with quiet reading and catch up time.  We changed our book bin books.  We had music.  We did calendar and we practiced counting in different ways.  We discovered that we can make words with the letters/sounds we have worked on this year.  Today we worked on the word 'at' and it's word family (cat, bat, mat, sat, pat, fat, rat).  We worked on our own book called "Look at Me".  We filled in the colour words and coloured the pictures.  We can read this book ourselves.  We will finish our books tomorrow.

Friday, October 29 - Children can wear their Halloween costume if they wish.  Please remember that regular masks (that cover the mouth and nose) are still required.  No violent costumes please and leave accessories that are weapons - e.g. gun, swords, etc should be left at home.  We will still be participating in gym so please make sure your child can move freely in their costume.
