Yesterday we started with quiet reading and catch up time. We did calendar and we talked about some 2D shapes. We did the 4th part of our 5 Little Pumpkins poem with visualization. We learned about the letter G. We talked about the 2 sounds it can make and we watched some letter G videos. We brainstormed words that start with G. We practiced printing the capital and lowercase G on our whiteboards and in our printing books. We drew and labelled pictures. We had gym with Mrs. Sterne. In math we worded on the number 8. We practiced printing it and we showed ways that we can represent it. We did a guided drawing of a tree so we can make a fall tree tomorrow.
Today we started with quiet reading and catch up time. We continued to talk about how we are all unique. We did calendar and we practiced counting in different ways. We did our last day of visualization with our 5 Little Pumpkins poem. We had gym. We are playing parachute games. We had music with Mr. Weins. We did our fall tree art project. We looked at the tree we drew yesterday and thought about how we could make it better. We tried to do that when we drew another tree. We used tissue paper to add fall leaves to our drawing. We did not have time to finish our trees so we will continue to work on them tomorrow.
